I was in Echo Juliet from the fall of 1994 until May of 1997. This was the first band I was in that actually did some serious gigging and recording.
When Bry, Wiley and I defected and eventually formed 3 Penny Opera, there were some feelings really hurt. I am very happy that everything with various members has been totally resolved and it’s all water under the bridge now.
I still have a fond memory of being in the band and I really had a great time doing it. We were (IMO) a great pop band. We had the potential to do some serious damage on the unsuspecting public, but things didn’t work out that way.
We recorded one CD during our existence. I like the CD. Yeah, there’s some sour notes, some tempo fluctuations and a big lack of maturity, but it’s still a nice thing to pop in the player on occasion. I am proud of it as my first recording, and happy to have it up on my mantle!
