Track to skip: none, they’re all consistent
I think these guys just might have been the best of the whole 80’s British pop invasion thingie. Tears For Fears’ music always seemed a bit more intelligent than the rest of the lot. Of course, listening to this brings back massive memories of the Mighty 80’s. I was only familiar with 4 of these songs from growing up, but the rest are actually pretty good too. They’re good songwriters. A nice thing is that there’s a strong King Crimson influence on the tracks Tears Roll Down and Change. Everybody Wants to Rule the World is still my favorite song of theirs – great tune. You can’t go wrong with Head Over Heels & Shout too. Those are classic songs. Overall this is a good collection and I absolutely recommend it if you like the 3 main singles; you won’t be disappointed.
