The first compilation album released on Robert Fripp’s Discipline label, so that means that naturally a big portion of this (and the next one) feature lots of Fripp, Crimson, Crimson members, and anybody with a Guitar Craft affiliation. I think Fripp makes a real good case for the quality of music on his label with this release. It’s very eclectic and for the most part it flows really well.

Thrak Attack is my (by far) least fave Crimson album, so the inclusion of one of the more annoying tracks from it on here is a big question mark. Also, I think Inductive Resonance is an obnoxious track and makes me not really want to buy any of the LoG’s stuff. But aside from those two, this album is a huge pile of wonderful and original music. Everything is good on here and it’s a really enjoyable listen. Everybody shines on the disc and it’s something I highly recommend, especially since you can find it for around $5-6.
