Hullo! Sitting here typing emails before work and I figured I’d do a quick musical update. Still demoing, but have switched gears and started vocalizing. I don’t think it qualifies as “singing” yet, but sounds are emerging from my mouth and I’m recording them on the hard drive. Are they any good? No, but I have optimism. Songs so far are 10K, 391905 (what’s with the numbers?) and Funk Detective. Like I said, just rough versions for the demos. Also worked a bit on programming drums for (working title, obviously) “Detune D String Down to C#”. I really hope I can get the feel right, because I like this tune.
Anyway, that’s all. Going to see Dah-veed tonight so I’m in a good mood.

Howdy!
Long time. For the three of you reading this, I just felt I should note that I believe it’s a physical impossibility for me to have my first album done in 12 days. Maybe if I could skip work all those days and not sleep…
So anyway, I think I can make it for *October* 1st. I guess if I have to push it back again, you’ll hear it here. Hopefully I won’t though. Progress on it has been slow (which is why it won’t be done on 8/1) and I’m still demoing. Which means that I still haven’t decided on a tracklist. I have a feeling that I’ll want to put some “newer” material on there, and that means I’ll have to come up with some lyrics. I haven’t written lyrics in 2 years. What’s wrong with me? If and when inspiration hits, I’m ready.
